Mr. Abbas (B.S. in #Engineering at Cairo University’s / MBA at Arab Academy for Management) with overall #mechanical experience of 19 years mainly in #HVAC with a substantial involvement in the design and #construction of different building applications, including office, #residential, #commercial, #hospital, industrial & high-rise buildings & etc.
He is currently focusing on preparing techno-commercial studies and business models for various types of projects. These #projects include district cooling projects, #energymanagement and energy efficiency studies, as well as project management.
Abbas Safwat’s professional expertise includes: conducting techno-commercial studies and devising business models for various project types (EPC, BOO, BOT, etc.) / leading engineering teams for large-scale district #cooling and #MEP projects / managing engineering aspects of facility management projects, including value engineering and coordination of #energy audits.
Throughout his career, he has achieved significant milestones in the field of district #cooling and #heating. This includes the successful completion of mega projects such as the #AdministrativeCapital DCP, which is the largest in Africa, as well as the district cooling plant in Karamay Mall-Marakez and promising cogeneration projects like the Danone facility in Obour city. Additionally, he has represented the company in various exhibitions, conferences, and meetings, and has completed deals and contract signings for district cooling mega projects.
Abbas Sawfat has been certified as a #Consultant Engineer in Mechanical-HVAC by The Egyptian Syndicate of Engineers – Achieved Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from PMI – Earned Risk Management Professional (RMP) certification from PMI – Acquired Energy Manager (CEM) certification from AEE Center
