Prof. Dr. Farag Samhan: Scientific Advisor at Egypt Water Regulatory Authority
Prof. Dr. Farag Samhan graduated from Cairo University in 1991 and received a scholarship from the Academy of Scientific Research in 1994. After completing his military service, he worked at the National Research Center and obtained a master’s degree in 1998. He later earned a #PhD in Sanitary Safety of Drinking Water and #Sanitation from the University of Hohenheim, Germany.
Prof. Dr. Samhan has conducted research on various water-related #projects and has been involved in capacity-building programs for #waterregulatory authorities. He has also taught #environmental microbiology at Cairo University and Al-Azhar University. With over 40 research papers published in international journals and a membership in specialized #scientific committees, he is an expert in #technologies for drinking water #purification, #desalination, and #wastewater treatment.
