We are pleased to welcome Dr. Tarek Attia Bayoumy, Professor of Construction Engineering and Management, as a Panelist at the Egypt Facility Management Forum.
With over 30 years of experience across construction engineering, facility management, green buildings, and project management, Dr. Tarek brings a wealth of knowledge in shaping national frameworks and advancing industry standards. His expertise spans PMO establishment, strategy development, codes and regulations, and applied research, making him a key contributor to both academic and professional fields.
Dr. Tarek has played a significant role in the development of major national codes and systems, including the Egyptian Code of Construction Project Management, the Green Pyramids Rating System (GPRS), and guidelines for operation and maintenance of public and heritage buildings. His contributions also extend to smart cities development and national strategies across Egypt and Saudi Arabia.
As part of the panel discussion on “Egyptian FM Code: Market Regulation & Standardization”, Dr. Tarek will share valuable insights on regulatory frameworks, standardization, and the future of facility management practices in Egypt.
