About the Award

Project of the Year – Public Sector is directed to public sector Facility Management projects that have demonstrated excellence in applying sustainability principles alongside digitalization initiatives within their operations.

The award recognizes projects that leveraged technology and integrated systems to optimize facility performance, improve service quality, and deliver measurable environmental and operational benefits.

Award Evaluation Questions

(These questions must be answered in Step 2 of the application)

Applicants must clearly address the following questions and support their answers with evidence:

1. How did the project define sustainability and digitalization objectives?
2. How were these objectives planned and executed within the project scope?
3. What was the measurable impact of implementing sustainability and digitalization objectives?

Award Benchmarks

Submissions will be evaluated based on the following benchmarks:

• Clarity of sustainability and digitalization objectives
• Effectiveness of planning and execution
• Integration and effective use of technology
• Measurable impact on operational performance and service delivery

Steps for applying for EFMF 2026 awards:

Step 1:

Please identify which award you will apply for after reading carefully about the award, and who will apply for ( e.g. services provider, owner, supplier, individual, or open for all ).

Note: You can apply for multiple awards.

Step 2:

Please answer all relevant questions about the award in a word file.

Step 3:

Please add all supporting documentation to prove the achievements and answers in step 2.

Step 4:

Please create a PDF file as an attachment with the below with required information.

Step 5 ( Optional):

It may be required for the applier to do 20 mins presentation for the event advisory committee to get more clarification about the submitted documents.
